This Pinot Grigio is from the Robert Mondavi Private Selection line of wines. I’ve had some Pinot Grigio before, and, while I’ve liked some, I’m starting to think that I’m just not that fond of this particular grape. I get some gooseberry and citrus on the nose, but I’m not getting much in the way of fruit …

Today’s wine is something a little different than what I usually drink. This is a Pinot Grigio from California. I’ve had very little Pinot Grigio in the past. According to my records, I’ve only had one bottle before. I guess it is time to try this variety again. I’m not really sure what to expect …
